The Mood Disorders Association of Ontario offers free peer support and recovery programs to people living with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. We also offer support for family members.

Hamilton Peer Support: Mood Menders Support Services - St. Joseph's Healthcare Meeting

Meetings are held for both individuals with a mood disorder and their supporters are held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Sharing, coping skills, providing support and networking with others facing similar challenges.  See the attached brochure for more details.

Midland Peer Support Group: DMD Group of Midland/Penetang

A peer support group for individuals coping with symptoms of mental health challenges. This group provides a judgment-free and respectful environment to receive support around mental health experiences. 

The group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

Early Intervention Family Forum

This is a peer support/psychoeducational group for family members and supporters with a loved one experiencing psychosis. You will receive support, psychoeducational tools and resources to cope with your loved one's psychosis. This group meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7:00 - 8:50 p.m. at 36 Eglinton Ave West, Suite 602.

Toronto Drop-in Group: Substance Use and Mood Disorder Support Group

A non-judgmental drop-in peer support group for anyone living with concurrent disorder (the combination of mood disorders and substance use/addiction issues). We welcome folks in all stages of wellness and recovery, meaning the group is open to both those who are currently using and those who are abstaining. (However, we do require sober attendance).

Meetings: The second and fourth Thursday of each month, from 7:00 to 8:50 p.m.
