Hi, Steph, and welcome!

The MDAO has online support groups via Zoom.  I keep forgetting to try one.

Thanks.

Btw, we used to have outings the odd time.  Nice to meet forum people in person!

Hi, Quang...Nice to hear from you!  Now I know the forum is working again.

I'm coping - I'm bothered by Covid, but not extremely so.  I still go out shopping etc.

I have your business card in front of me...."Quang Vu Mai."

I emailed the MDAO a while ago to let them now that the moderator of the forum passed away.
Paul Morton passed away on January 22.  Probably from throat cancer, according to the person who told me.
I met him in person a few times.

HSG, thanks for checking in!

I've been helped by CBT.  I haven't filled out any of the forms in ages.  :-[

...but you reminded me to.

I'm less affected by this lately.

The uncertainty about COVID is depressing.  I mean how long it will last, the whole world is affected by it.....etc.

mom, that's interesting.  Haven't met a beekeeper before.

Peter

My younger brother had a "bee hotel" in his yard.  It was a piece of plywood nailed to his garage.....had a whole bunch of holes drilled in it where bees could relax/sleep.  (?)  He said most bees are solitary ???  They were the ones sleeping in his "hotel."

Coincidentally, my oldest brother had a "bat hotel" in his yard.  Looked just like a bird house.

Hi, guys, I wan't coping so well, but I'm turning over a new leaf today.

I mentioned this on another forum:

I'm fixating, reading about COVID all day long on the net, "putting life on hold" until COVID blows over. Not good!

I'm being more positive starting today. :)

Thanks, Paul.

Update:  2 days later I get a horrible all day chest pain...hurts when I inhale....I can hardly walk!  (I read you can get pains after an ablation)

Went to St. Mikes Emergency ....I was there for hours and hours.  Hardly any other patients!...odd.

Junior cardiologist thought it was a heart inflammation.
Said to take Aleve, which I have at home, and gave a prescription for an anti inflammatory.  Too late to fill prescription, so I took one Aleve....much better!  Another Aleve the next day even better! I was surprised.  I took the odd prescription medication I picked up, and maybe I didn't even need it...amazing.

Update:  my procedure was Tuesday at 7:00 (!) a.m.  I was home in the afternoon.  I think I had the ablation sooner than later because my meds weren't helping.

The doctor decided to use general anesthesia.

I don't have to go again - they fixed my problem.  My chest is a little sore - common, I looked it up.
