The most depressed I've been in ages yesterday. No thoughts - not sure why. Like my ex psychiatrist used to say: there MUST be some thoughts.
Anyway, I felt better yesterday after doing some chores (for a change!).
I was going to go to Emergency at Scarborough General up the street just to talk......I may see my Dr's nurse tomorrow just to talk, or a Dr.
My regular hospital is St. Michael's, but not so convenient now that I'm in Scarborough.
Better today........watching Babymetal over and over again cheers me up - serious.... :o

Better today!

My Laughing like Crazy drop in comedy group is tonite - I haven't been in ages. That'll help.
Tomorrow I see my retina specialist, so I can easily talk to the nurse tomorrow - she and Dr. are a few blocks away from eye clinic.

Hope you feel better soon Peter.
I wonder if this weather is hard on everybody. I do find that it helps to talk to someone sometimes.

Hello Peter. I hope that you feel better soon. It's been a butal winter for many of us.Windy, damp, no sunlight etc all combine to lower my moods .
I can't speak for you Peter, but my moods always crash around this time of yr and then slowly come back up as the weather gets better. Take Care. paul m

Thanks, guys.... I'm feeling better.
Saw nurse and (different) today - she was very good - recommended going to MDAO in person support groups again.
Also had blood test to rule out thyroid etc.

I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better! I was impressed by your problem-solving - who to talk to, who to go and see. You reminded me of how important it is to have a plan of action when moods overwhelm us. All the best to you!

Thanks, Amanda......I could've filled Cognitive Behaviour Therapy forms, but I often don't have thoughts when I'm depressed....(that I know of).
Since Tuesday I have a bad chest cold :(. I seldom get colds.
Welcome!

Hello Peter. It's been a wicked season for colds. I had one that seemed to hang on forever. I hope that you get over yours soon.
I was thinking of you today and some of your jokes. Your jokes have entertained me over the years and I just thought that I would pass that on.
I was at an MDAO conference and they had some laughing like crazy grads there to entertain us. Per usual they were good. However no one ever uses the props that you used to use(maybe you still do). While all of you grads are funny, I always thought that your props added a little extra. Take Care. paul m.
