I have done it for awhile. Be careful not to read to far into it till you see your doctor. You can and I did find YouTube videos by Dr's that explain the results. Just because a result is outside the reference range don't panic it could be from a fasting test as an example.

Hi Peace

Nice find and very true.  Just adding to this I am not trying to high-jack the post.

For every bodies knowledge most of this also falls into (OCPD) as well being (Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder).  The two condition fallow similar traits. What is in the link is without question correct as a description of true (OCD). If you are a person of (OCD) by diagnosis but are super inflexible about the way things are done and the rules of things like psychics, you are more likely (OCPD) and and or both and you should inquire about a more in-depth diagnosis. Medications for mental health are not generalized like Tylenol, the are chemically engineered for specific dysfunctions. Being on the right med's is the secret.

I have both (OCD) & (OCPD)  so I can say first hand.

Mine likely took place long before the term came to the public knowledge arena, but it seems to be the basic idea.

In my ("mind and heart") they died not in real life. It was a way to trick my mind into a belief that would help me move on and stop being suicidal. It goes to the old saying there is life after death.

"He" was her father, and he is a awesome man in my eyes.

I have gone through something like it. in 1997 I lost a child, not to death but to the fact I married a Psychopathy female. After taking my child she pushed me over a cliff mentally. I was just becoming very unstable and my bipolar kicked in and had ended in suicide. I was revived and lived like a ghost for 20. In order to protect him from seeing me and her go head to head and her ending up dead I had to walk away to save him as her father was an excellent man and I knew he could control her. In 2009 I finally came to a point, and I started to repeat and make myself believe they died in a horrible car accident. After about 3 months I even dreamed their accident and in my mind it became real. That's is when I stopped crying everyday. I mourned their death and moved on. Since them i am still empty but for the first time content.

To make that horrible story great I met my son Dec 27 2016 and we are now best friends he is now 21 and she has no say anymore. So I can say yes a radical acceptance can be healthy but the person and circumstances should dictate whether its should be done.  It can allow you to shut down feelings and allow forward progression.

If you have to give up gardening try changing how you feel about what you see. In other words if you look out side and see tall weeds. Learn to love the weeds. Study them read about them and come to understand they are special too. When you love what you see it makes you feel good. Love what is there not what is no longer there change can be good for the mind and heart. all living things are special.

I did it to save my own life.

General Discussion / For OCD and OCPD people / Lithium Brain damage

For OCD and OCPD people / Lithium Brain damage

I was lithium intoxicated for 212 days last year and am still copping with the repercussions and the rebuilding of my body. I am physically and mentally doing well. In spring 2016 I had a brain MRI done and I never heard much about it from my Neurologist other than everything is normal within reason. To make a long story short I now have white-matter disorder that was reported in that MRI. That is when damage the white matter in the brain is cause by something generally a traumatic brain injury or medically caused by medications like “Lithium”.

Most antipsychotics and antidepressants work in the gray matter areas of the brain. Lithium only works in the white matter of the brain and is “CUMULATIVE” which can and will likely led to (SILENT) “(Syndrome of Irreversible Lithium-Effectuated Neurotoxicity)”. I will also add a link to that paper.

Back to OCD and OCPD. Damage to white matter greatly modifies and enhances OCD effects. If you have severe OCD and or OCPD you should print this document and talk to your GP about an MRI just to make sure your white matter is not damaged.

Yes I will be having another comparison MRI soon.

The only things to worry about. Try to remain calm and relaxed. No worries about the sentence just enjoy that they are healthy and happy and on their way to starting a new life. I will pray that all works out for him.
