In response to questions from consumer/survivor communities, a series of brochures have been created to inform people about their privacy and consent rights under the provincial privacy law, called the Provincial Health Information Protection Act.

The brochures were created in partnership with consumer/survivors to ensure the most common questions and concerns are clearly answered.

The series includes five separate brochures, which you can download by choosing the links at the bottom of the page:

  • What are my privacy rights?
  • What is in my file?
  • Who might see my information?
  • Why am I being asked these questions?
  • Will you share my information?
