Self Management Strategies for those with Bipolar Disorder – The Delphi Study

The Mood Disorders Association of Ontario in partnership with The Collaborative RESearch Team to study Psychosocial Issues in Bipolar Disorder aka CREST.BD, are involved in an innovative and exciting project called The Delphi Study.  We are looking to explore and share wellness strategies for bipolar disorder.

What makes this a unique study?

This study is uses a Community Based Participatory Research model where those who live with bipolar disorder are equitable partners with traditional researchers and health care providers to contribute their unique expertise and share decision making and ownership.

Learn more about how those with lived experience are working in partnership with researchers to improve the health and quality of life of the bipolar community.

How can you help?

We need help from those living with bipolar disorder and health care providers working with people with bipolar disorder, to answer an online survey on wellness strategies.

What’s in it for me?

  • Use and share your lived experience and expertise with bipolar disorder on how to best manage your wellness.
  • Learn about a number of wellness strategies for your own personal wellness toolbox
  • Help to contribute and share your expertise on a global level for this international study.
  •  As a thank you, after completing both surveys, you will be entered in a draw for one of two prize packages worth over $500 each – consisting of books, DVDs and self help materials.
