WRAP Level 2 Facilitator Training @ MDAO

WRAP® Facilitator Training at Hope and Me - MDAO
Background
Our approach offers more than the base five day WRAP Facilitator course and is intended not to simply train facilitators but to build and support a community of practice within organizations or the community. The intention is to make WRAP more accessible and available to more people anywhere who would like to develop tools that will help them feel well and lead productive lives for long periods of time.
Eligibility
The basic, standard eligibility for any WRAP Facilitator Training is that participants have:
- Completed a qualifying WRAP program and can produce a valid certificate, e.g.:
- Copeland Center Correspondence Course
- 2 or 3 day WRAP Level One course or workshop, or
- 8 or 12 week WRAP Level Two group or workshop
- Demonstrated use of WRAP in your own life for a minimum of three months.
- Completed an application form.
Goals of This Program
MDAO’s learning philosophy is based on the value preposition that learning does not end upon the completion of a workshop but rather the beginning of applying new ideas, understanding, knowledge and skills gained from the workshop.
Our training reflects this and includes ongoing support beyond the standard one week WRAP Facilitator Training Workshop, we also help facilitators plan for and run their first group – at your place, at our place or in a new community setting. If you need, we can also pair you with one of our facilitator team.
Our WRAP training is aligned with Copeland Centre’s “Fidelity Model” that is supported by research and recognized as a best practice, essentially, WRAP facilitator training is led by two Advanced Level Wrap Facilitators who received their training directly from the Copeland Centre, modelling the values and ethics and co-facilitation model to create environments in which people can explore how they can learn from WRAP and use it in their own lives.
Partnering
MDAO is especially interested in working and partnering with organizations seeking to be part of a network of peer supporters who are dedicated to making a difference in communities and organizations anywhere.
