Toronto Drop-in Group: Bipolar Peer Support Drop-in Group

This is a free peer support drop-in group for those living with Bipolar Disorder. Please join us and learn that you are not alone!
Every Friday, from 1-3 p.m.

Toronto Shyness and Social Anxiety Support Group

A support group for those who experience anxiety or discomfort around other people, whether in large gatherings, small groups, or one-on-one. 

Every Sunday 3:00-4:30 pm, 519 Church Street, Room 201.  There are no meetings in August 2018.  Meetings resume Sunday September 2nd.

Peterborough Peer Support Group: Peterborough Mood Disorder Support Group

We offer support and our knowledge and experience to people who have a Mood Disorder. We get together to discuss various topics that might help our recovery. We invite speakers, have potluck suppers and other activities. We are “NOT” experts but we do have experience with Mood Disorders. We offer a safe place to talk and get advice, opinions and we are totally confidential!

Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour Peer Support Group

A peer support group for individuals identifying as a person of colour. This is a respecful and safe space to discuss mental health challenges, as they relate to the complex identities and experiences of racial minorities in Ontario.

This group runs on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 1:00-3:00 pm and the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7:00-8:50 pm.

This is a group for people who have either depression or bipolar disorder.

The OCD Psycho-Ed Peer Support Group for Individuals

A group for individuals identifying with symptoms of OCD that are presenting challenges in their daily lives.  This could include repetitive and intrusive thoughts that cause anxiety and rituals that are performed in an effort to reduce the anxiety.

In this group, participants will have a chance to talk about their challenges and explore ways of coping.

Toronto Drop-in Group: Substance Use and Mood Disorder Support Group

A non-judgmental drop-in peer support group for anyone living with concurrent disorder (the combination of mood disorders and substance use/addiction issues). We welcome folks in all stages of wellness and recovery, meaning the group is open to both those who are currently using and those who are abstaining. (However, we do require sober attendance).

Meetings: The first and third Monday of each month, from 7:00 to 8:50 p.m.

Toronto Drop-in: West End Drop-in Peer Support Group

In partnership with Unison Health and Community Services, MDAO offers a West End Drop-in Peer Support group at Unison Jane and Tretheway. This is a drop in group for individuals living with mental health challenges. 

The group meets on 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6PM to 8PM starting September 10th, 2019
