Monday March 10, 2014
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario
McLaughlin Auditorium Room EG18A, E Wing, Ground Floor

Course Description:
Our 1st Annual Conference won the Ivan L. Silver Award for Excellence in Continuing Mental Health Education! This year’s event will focus on what clinicians and researchers need to know about the new DSM-5 Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, which include hoarding disorder, trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder), excoriation (skin picking) disorder, and body dysmorphic disorder in addition to OCD. We will kick off the day with a world-renowned expert on hoarding and related disorders, Dr. Gail Steketee, author of multiple workbooks for clinicians working with these conditions. We are also proud to have Dr. Martin Antony, author of over 29 books on OCD and anxiety discussing the relationship this new category of conditions has with anxiety broadly and the anxiety disorders more specifically. This day will also offer attendees a choice of workshops to meet a range of learner goals, from the practical "how to manage hoarding" to applying mindfulness techniques in your practice, and new understanding in neuroscience and psychopharmacology for these conditions.
