Registered Group: From Chaos to Calm: Developing Stronger Boundaries - Information Session

An eight session group for family members/supporters at MDAO of someone struggling with their mental health.

The purpose of this eight week program is to help family members evaluate the effectiveness of their current boundaries and develop strategies to enhance and create new boundaries in relaltion to communicating with their loved one.  Through this group you will expect to: reflect on your personal boundaries and how they impact you interpersonal relationships, develop communication and assertiveness strategies, increase understanding on how boundries are developed and the importance of boundaries to one's overall wellbeing.  The group will run weekly for eight sessions and each session will be 2.5 hours.

 

The information session and group will take place at MDAO at 36 Eglinton Avenue West Suite 602.

Upcoming program dates for 2017

Mondays 6:00 - 8:30

October 16th and 23rd

November 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

December 4th, and 11th.

 

Registration is Required.

Attending the information session is necessary to register for the program.  The information session takes place on Tuesday October 10th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Please RSVP to Becky Currran at beckyc@mdao.ca  or 416-486-8046 ext 240.

*If you have previously attended an information session you do not need to attend again to register for the group.  If you have previously attended an information session please contact Becky Curran at beckyc@mdao.ca or 416-486-8046 ext. 240 for information on registering before October 6th.
