If you’ve just been diagnosed with depression, anxiety or bipolar disorder, you are not alone. One in five Canadians will experience a mood disorder in his or her lifetime.

The Mood Disorders Association of Ontario is here to support you and your family as you begin your journey to recovery.

Our free support programs across Ontario offer a safe, inclusive, comfortable place where you can learn more about your condition. In our peer support groups, you can talk with people who are going through similar experiences. Peer support groups are free, and open to drop in.

Our free recovery programs offer educational and recreational activities to support your recovery. Due to their popularity, these programs often require registration in advance.

Our  free support line (416-486-8046; 1-888-486-8236) gives you access to volunteers who can answer your questions. Our support line is staffed by people who live with a mood disorder who can offer support, assistance, and a good ear.
